Call your local transportation authority and request an extra route be added to your favorite/nearest existing route, or be REALLY creative - and suggest a BRAND NEW ROUTE!!!

(this public service announcement is actually not as altruistic as it may appear... I, in fact, rely solely on public transportation... and perhaps, by chance, you happen to live near me, my repeated telephone calls to WMATA will be amplified by your requests)
